Associate Creative Director – Copy

About the role

As an Associate Creative Director – Copy (Copywriter,) you will concept big ideas driven by insights for our clients’ marketing strategies. We are looking for a conceptual thinker with a sharp pen who loves words as much as their 3:00 PM cafecito breaks. You don’t always skip the ads on YouTube, you know exactly what your favorite commercial is and your portfolio reflects this passion and personality.

In this role you will join a Creative Director team who will mentor you and stretch your creativity across a range of assignments in a fast-paced and challenging environment. As part of your job, you will support the creative journey from initial strategy implementation to wordsmithing the final client presentation that sells the perfect idea.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts in partnership with the Art Director.
  • Understand the message the client is seeking to deliver and translate it into persuasive and entertaining copy.
  • With guidance and direction, create across all content platforms from TV commercials, print, digital, social and experiential.
  • Know and understand the clients’ products, the target audience and vision, as well as competitor activities.
  • Stay in the know of what’s happening in the industry, popular culture and trends.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Creative Writing, Communications or related subject.
  • Experience in creative copywriting, concepting and graphic fundamentals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)
