World-class treatment center reaches the Hispanic community, tapping multicultural experts at ALMA
Memorial Sloan Kettering, a world renowned cancer center, has appointed ALMA as its Hispanic agency of record following a competitive pitch.
ALMA will collaborate on marketing communications strategy, creative, media, and events (in partnership with Mercury, their NY-based Omnicom sister agency) for the +2.6 million members of the Hispanic community in the New York area. The goal of the work will be to increase awareness of MSK’s superior level of cancer care.
“There is a clear cultural difference in the way Hispanics approach healthcare,” says Isaac Mizrahi, Co-president and Chief Operations Officer of ALMA. “We look forward to working alongside Memorial Sloan Kettering to promote first-class cancer care, innovation, and hope for the Hispanic community.”
MSK began the Hispanic agency search process earlier this year and retained the services of Joanne Davis Consulting, NY, NY to assist in the process. The search did not affect MSK’s general market agencies.
The first collaboration between the two is projected for the second half of 2019. To keep up and view more of ALMA’s work, visit www.AlmaAd.com, or follow their social accounts at @AlmaAgency.
